Russian-Ukrainian War - Europe and the New World Order

In the context of war and in light of the EU’s new defence “compass”, Lusófona University invites internationalists and political scientists to reflect on how, in particular, the European Union has reacted to the new multipolar order.

The conference Russo-Ukrainian War: Europe in the New International Order will be held in room D.2.9, at 2 pm, on March 14th 2022.

The event will focus on Russian imperialism, the Ukrainian resistance and transnational populism and their potential consequences. The environmental, energy, pandemic and migratory crisis in Europe and beyond will be under the covered themes.

This conference has the participation of Professor Riccardo Marchi, Professor Vasco Rato and Professor Sabrina Medeiros. Professor Liliana Ferreira and coordination will do the moderation by the Director of the Degree in European Studies and International Relations, Jorge Botelho Moniz.
