Universidade Lusófona, in collaboration with Edições Sílabo, was held the launch event for José Filipe Pinto's latest book, A Europa numa Encruzilhada: Novos Movimentos Sociais – Da diversidade aos desafios e oportunidades (Europe at a Crossroads: New Social Movements – From Diversity to Challenges and Opportunities). The event was set for November 18, at 5:00 p.m., in the Agostinho da Silva Auditorium.
The presentation was presided over by Professor Luís Cláudio Ribeiro, Vice-Rector of Universidade Lusófona, and was feature Professor Manuel de Almeida Damásio, the book’s preface author and a board member of Universidade Lusófona. The event included insights from distinguished journalists Carla Rodrigues (TVI/CNN Portugal), Maria João Simões (Observador Radio), and João Carlos Santos (Visão Magazine), who discussed the book’s themes and its relevance to contemporary European social movements.
