Launch of Prof. Aggie Hirst’s new book, Politics of Play (Oxford University Press, 2024).
In this work, Hirst explores the role of games and simulations as critical tools for teaching, research, and practice in International Relations, showing how “play” can support processes of diplomacy, negotiation, and scenario analysis.
This event offered a unique opportunity to engage with one of the leading international scholars on game-based and simulation methods, discussing how playful approaches can foster innovative thinking in diplomacy, policy analysis, and global governance studies.
