For the second time, Lusófona University, through LusoGlobe, had the honor of hosting the Spring Research School of the Political Observer (Portugal) and the Georgia Institute of Technology (USA). An international and fruitful partnership which, in this edition, organized a round table discussion on Portuguese politics in the context of the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution.
Speakers included some of our most prominent researchers, such as Profs. Jorge Botelho Moniz, Riccardo Marchi, and Teresa Nogueira Pinto, as well as Maria Teresa Paulo (Assembly of the Portuguese Republic), who contributed to the debate on Portuguese democracy in the light of the themes of European integration, European elections, and populism.
