PhD in Sociology (Culture, Knowledge and Education) at NOVA University Lisbon. Assistant Professor in Introduction to Social Sciences at Lusófona University. Coordinating Researcher of the Research and Learning Community (ReLeCo) African Studies: Education and Society (CeiED – Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development, Lusófona University). Certified by the 14th Course in African Studies, Military University Institute. Reviewer for the Journal of Applied Research in Higher Education, EMERALD, and Herança – Revista de História, Património e Cultura.

She has collaborated with the University of Cape Verde, the National University of Timor-Leste, the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences of Luanda, Angola, and the University Eduardo Mondlane, Mozambique.
