Fabrizio Boscaglia (Turin, 1981) is a lecturer and researcher in the field of Religious Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Education, and Administration of Lusófona University.
He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Lisbon, with a thesis on Fernando Pessoa and Islam. His main research interests are: the reception and representation of Islam in contemporary Portuguese culture; the thought and work of Fernando Pessoa; and Islamic mysticism.
He is a consultant at King’s College London (UK), and he’s the author of dozens of academic publications internationally, being the guest editor in special issues of the scientific journals “El Azufre Rojo” (University of Murcia, Spain, 2019) and “Pessoa Plural” (Brown University, USA, 2016).
He is the guest curator of the exhibition “Divine Wisdom: the path of the Sufis” at the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum. He collaborates as a curator of exhibitions at the National Library of Portugal. He is a Lecturer and consultant in Cultural, Religious, and Literary Tourism.
