Susana Rogeiro Nina holds a PhD in Comparative Politics (ULisboa, 2022). Currently is an Assistant Professor at Lusófona University, specializing in Political Science, International Relations, and European Studies. She is an Integrated Researcher at LusoGlole (ULusófona) and also contributes to the Observatory of the Quality of Democracy (OQD, ICS-ULisbon). She has had visiting research positions at AsCor Amesterdam School of Communication Research (AsCOR) at the University of Amsterdam (2018) and at the Université Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve (2017). Her doctoral research was conducted at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon as part of the MAPLE Project, funded by the European Research Council (ERC). She holds a master’s degree in Political Science from ISCTE-IUL (2016) and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Universidade da Beira Interior. Her research interests focus on political communication, media studies, media effects, and the European Union. Her work was published in journals such as the International Journal of Press/Politics, Social Sciences, Relações Internacionais, and Cadernos de Estudos Africanos. In 2019, she co-authored the book “Breve História do Partido Ecologista ‘Os Verdes’ e do Pessoas-Animais-Natureza”.
