LusoGlobe made a significant impact at the recent ALACIP (Asociación Latinoamericana de Ciencia Política) conference held at ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. The event, which convened some of the foremost scholars and practitioners in political science from across Latin America and beyond, was marked by thought-provoking discussions and high-profile panels.

António Costa Pinto, a renowned political scientist and LusoGlobe's esteemed member, participated in a high-profile opening panel focused on the "Challenges of Democracy." Costa Pinto joined a distinguished group of keynote speakers to address the pressing issues facing democratic institutions and practices in the contemporary world. In another contribution, Sabrina Medeiros was featured in a panel dedicated to "Armed Forces and Contemporary Cooperation Frameworks and Roles." Medeiros' presentation explored the evolving role of armed forces within modern cooperation frameworks such as CAMAS and their impact on national and international security.
