From May 2024 until December 2024, the fifth edition of the Permanent Seminar on Islamic Studies was held at Universidade Lusófona, coordinated by Fabrizio Boscaglia. This cycle of events consisted of scientific lectures on Islam and Islamic civilisation, given by Portuguese and international experts, in Portuguese and English.
Unless otherwise indicated, the sessions took place via Zoom, with free admission and no registration.

The Permanent Seminar on Islamic Studies took place in the Science of Religions area at Universidade Lusófona, in the context of the LusoGlobe research center. It also relied on the partnerships of the Islamic Foundation of Palmela and MIAS-Latina.
