Jacqueline Ferreira Marques has a Degree (1997) and Master’s Degree (2003) in Social Work, from the Institute of Social Work of Coimbra. Coimbra. Doctorate in Social Work (ISSSL-ULL, 2016).
Began her professional activity in 1997 as a social worker. Started teaching in 2000, having worked at Instituto de Serviço Social Miguel Torga, Universidade Católica, Instituto Politécnico de Gaya, Instituto Politécnico de Viseu, Instituto de Serviço Social do Porto and Universidade de Coimbra. In the latter lectured for 13 years.
Assistant Professor at the Lusófona University – University Center of Lisbon in the Institute of Social Service and co-editor of the journal Temas Sociais.
Her areas of research are social policies, professional skills and social inequality.
