On the 20th of May, 2022, at Universidade Lusófona we received the “Spring Research School” Program from GATECH – Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, Georgia ( USA).
A collective book including the articles from the speeches marks the partnership, planned for launch in 2023.

APCP Biennal Congress

The APCP biennial congress took place at the University of Beira Interior from March 30 to April 1, 2023. It featured in this edition seven thematic sections: Portuguese Society and Politics, European Studies, Comparative Politics, Governance and Local Politics, Administration and Public Policy, International Relations and Political Theory.

In the context of war and in light of the EU’s new defence “compass”, Lusófona University invites internationalists and political scientists to reflect on how, in particular, the European Union has reacted to the new multipolar order.

The Future of the European Union

On April 5, 2022, at the José Araújo Auditorium, Universidade Lusófona will hold the debate: The Future of the European Union. The panel comprises Prof. José Filipe Pinto, Profa Teresa Sarmiento, Profa. Liliana Reis and Prof Jorge Botelho Moniz, who is also the coordinator of the event. The journalist of the newspaper O Público, António Saraiva Lima, will moderate the event.

II International Symposium on Catholic Studies

On March 7th and 10th, 2022, the II International Symposium on Catholic Studies takes place virtually. Working group 10 on Catholicism, Ecumenism and Interreligious Dialogue is coordinated by Prof. Jorge Botelho Moniz, Prof. José Brissos-Lino and Prof. Paulo Mendes Pinto.
