Democracy Conditioners: the Brazilian Case

Prof. Luciano Abreu (Visiting Researcher at ICS-U Lisbon and Full Prof at the Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, Prof. Cristina Buarque de Hollanda (Professor at NYU-Abu Dhabi) and Journalist Giuliana Miranda (Journalist at Folha de S. Paulo in Portugal and SIC commentator for Brazilian affairs) formed the panel about the Democracy Conditioners: the Brazilian Case. The event was moderated by Prof. Susana Rogeiro Nina (Lusófona University) and was coordinated by Prof. Sabrina Medeiros.

On the 20th of May, 2022, at Universidade Lusófona we received the “Spring Research School” Program from GATECH – Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, Georgia ( USA).
A collective book including the articles from the speeches marks the partnership, planned for launch in 2023.

APCP Biennal Congress

The APCP biennial congress took place at the University of Beira Interior from March 30 to April 1, 2023. It featured in this edition seven thematic sections: Portuguese Society and Politics, European Studies, Comparative Politics, Governance and Local Politics, Administration and Public Policy, International Relations and Political Theory.
