Workshop Best Practices: Migrant Student Entrepreneurs
The Universidade Lusófona, in collaboration with CLAIM (Centro Local de Apoio à Integração de Migrantes), was set to host a workshop titled "Best Practices: Migrant Student Entrepreneurs" on February 17, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Professor José Araújo Auditorium.
This event aimed to foster discussions on entrepreneurship among migrant students, providing a platform for sharing experiences, challenges, and strategies for success. Experts from various fields participated in the workshop, offering insights into integration, innovation, and business development.

A new scholarly work, Building Dictatorships under Axis Rule: War, Military Occupation and Political Regimes, edited by António Costa Pinto and Goffredo Adinolfi is set for publication, shedding light on the political transformations that took place under Axis influence during World War II. The book explores how military occupations and wartime conditions shaped authoritarian regimes in occupied territories, offering perspectives on the relationship between war and dictatorship.

Commemoration of International Migrants Day at Universidade Lusófona
On December 18th, at 2:30 PM, the Commemoration of International Migrants Day took place at the Professor José Araújo Auditorium at Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário de Lisboa. The event was opened by Elisabete Pinto da Costa, coordinator of CLAIM, with moderation by José Rodrigues and Ricardo Lobato, both social work interns at CLAIM. The closing session will be led by Hélia Bracons, deputy coordinator of CLAIM at Centro Universitário de Lisboa.
Portugal within the International Financial System: study visit to IDB
The study visit was organized as part of a work on Portugal's role in International Financial Institutions, coordinated by LusoGlobe - Lusófona Centre on Global Challenges. The results of this research will be published in January 2025 in the LusoGlobe collection and made available through the ZENODO platform, ensuring open access to the European Union's OpenAIRE database.
