Festival sponsored by the University of Turin
LusoGlobe researcher Fabrizio Boscaglia, deputy director of Lusófona University's Master's programme in the Science of Religions, took part as a speaker in the Italian festival dedicated to Mental Health and sponsored by the University of Turin, ‘Collegno Fòl Fest’, with a talk on ‘Collegno's Amnesiac between Brazil and Portugal: poetry and psychiatry’.
Colloquium in honour of Adel Sidarus
Event in honour of Arabist and Professor Adel Sidarus, a key figure in Arabic studies in Portugal in recent decades. A leading academic in Arabic language, al-Andalus, Arabic manuscripts and intercultural and inter-religious dialogue (particularly Islamo-Christian), Adel Sidarus has been honoured by colleagues and researchers through papers and speeches about him and in these areas.
This colloquium pays tribute to the Arabist and Professor Adel Sidarus, a key figure in Arab studies in Portugal between the 20th and 21st centuries. A leading academic in the fields of Arabic, al-Andalus, Arabic manuscripts and intercultural and inter-religious dialogue (particularly Islamo-Christian dialogue), Adel Sidarus will be honoured at this colloquium by colleagues and researchers, through papers and speeches about him and related to these areas of study.
This event was part of the Permanent Seminar on Islamic Studies of the Area of Science of Religions and the LusoGlobe of the University of Lisbon, held in partnership with the National Library of Portugal.

Illiberalisms: Paths of Investigation
