Open Class on Interculturality and Human Rights

On April 10th, professor Hélia Bracons at FCSEA at Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário de Lisboa, was present at IPLUSO to talk about "Interculturality and Education for Human Rights". The open class was aimed at students at the Escola Superior de Educação da Lusofonia, with the aim of raising awareness and reflecting on sociocultural diversity, interculturality and education for human rights.

NOVO: Master's thesis on sexual harassment in public spaces

On March 2nd, the newspaper NOVO published an interview with student Ana Neves, from the Master's program in Risks and Violence in Contemporary Societies: Analysis and Social Intervention at the Social Work Institute of Lusófona University - Lisbon University Center, about her master's thesis on sexual harassment in public spaces, supervised by Professor Nélson Ramalho.

Social Work and the Democratic Values of April

On the 22nd of April, the Lusófona University hosted a prominent event entitled “Social Work and Democratic Values”. The event, which will take place in the Agostinho da Silva Auditorium from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., marks a crucial academic initiative to reflect on the fundamental principles of democracy and its impact on the field of social work.
