A scientific expedition was organized by LusoGlobe to the Maritime Studies Institute of the University of A Coruña, directed by Prof Maria Isabel Cortí,  set to embark on a groundbreaking cooperation project. It involved esteemed professors and researchers from the Brazilian Naval War College master's and doctoral programmes in maritime studies, including Claudio Correa and Francisco Alves de Almeida.  

A Profa. Hélia Bracons facilitated a thematic session and participated in the 8th International Congress on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, with a paper entitled "Promoting Diversity and Inclusion in educational and community contexts", which took place on July 18 and 20, at the Lisbon School of Education.

A Profa. Hélia Bracons participated in the 14th Meeting of Researchers of the CEIED of the Lusófona University - Lisbon University Centre, with a paper entitled "Interculturality and intercultural education: challenges for training and intervention", which took place on the 12th and 13th of July 24, at the Lusófona University.

Lusófona University welcomed Professor Dr. Nergiz Özkural Köroğlu, from the University of Uskudar, for a conversation with students and professors, promoted by LusoGlobe - Lusófona Center on Global Challenges. While in Portugal, Prof Nergiz came through the Erasmus Mobility Programme as a visiting researcher at LusoGlobe. 
The event had as moderator, Prof Claudio Correa, a visiting professor and researcher from Brazil as part of the LusoGlobe team, accompanied by Prof Sabrina Medeiros and Prof Jorge Botelho Moniz.

New academic article: "Welcoming migrants: integration of migrant children in the school context" by our researcher Prof. Hélia Bracons and Mariana Mesquita Anes was published in Ehquidad: La Revista Internacional de Políticas de Bienestar y Trabajo Social, Núm. 22 (2024): Julio - Diciembre.

New academic article: “The Representation of Intimate Partner Femicides in the Media in Portugal” by our researcher Prof. Nélson Ramalho has been published in the Comunicando Journal (vol. 13, n.º 1) of the Portuguese Association of Communication Sciences.
